Website design and Development for new medical clinic.
This medical clinic needed a professional level website to highlight its services and quality. We designed and developed a website that helped them win in their local market. A key central component of the project was designing 11 unique icons to highlight the services they offer.
Project Overview
HC Solutions created the website for University Medical Clinic, a primary care clinic, located on the beautiful Northwest Nazarene University campus. They’re dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized healthcare services to individuals and families in the community as well as the students, faculty and staff. This prompted us to develop a site that could serve as a touch point for their clients, provide information and help them meet their needs for the clinic.
Services icon creation
The clinic need a quick way to communicate the multitude of services that they offer. This was a key component that sets them apart from other medical clinics in the area. We designed and animated these 11 unique icons to demonstrate their services in a professional way. Designing this icon system was essential for communicating quickly for this medical site.
Professional page animations
To demonstrate the professionalism of their site, a multitude of subtle impactful scroll animations were added. These animations, while small, add a high level of interactivity to the site. This turns them from a simple layout to a high quality provider. Animations are so much more than just “feel good” elements. They add a level of professionalism that communicates a finished product. It’s these final touches that will take a website from okay, to advanced.
HC Solutions uses a variety of wave to animate our pages, for this particular site we utilized GSAP animations to create the smoothest animations, with the highest performance possible. GSAP allows for so much more than just page animations though, it’s an advanced system for creating movement.
Further hover animations
Clean crisp hover animations were added throughout the site as the final touch to the interactivity of the site. These css animations may seems small but really add a complete feel to the site. Leaving these off would be like leaving off trim and baseboards in a house remodel. They are absolutely essential.
Technologies Used
The University Medical Clinic site required it's own beautiful website that could still be editable by an every day user. That's why we developed a custom Wordpress website that utilized GSAP Javascript animations for a beautiful feel and great look overall. We developed several custom Gutenberg blocks in order to personalize the site and make the backend clean and professional. By utilizing Wordpress as the backend CMS we allowed the client to retain editing access to their site, while still creating something optimized for performance and SEO.
